Valentines...Primitive style...

Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on Feb. 14. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionary. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines." Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid.
I just found these prim valentines for your valentine tree from a local artist, you can meet here here: Pepper Creek Gatherings The heart with wings in classic cupid fare is hanging from a rusty wire, wrapped with cheesecloth and baked w/ coffee. $10.
On the top, the "love note" comes in 3 different sayings, is hanging from a rusty wire w/ rusty bells and coffee stained homespun background. $4.
Here is heart for your cupboard door. Or it could greet your guests on a front door inside of a grapevine wreath...$16.
