We Got Sunshine on a Summer-Winter Day

As I step outside today I want to
plant flowers in my window boxes!!!
In MARCH!!!
The snow is GONE, and I actually
saw a report on Facebook yesterday that
the crocus are blooming in town!!
Typically out in the country we don't
see flowers as early as they do in town.
Do you have any blooms yet?

In case you are popping in to check:

JUST IN!!!
New fragrances in from Black Crow Candle Co.
{new reed diffusers and melts also!}
~PLUS~
You can always find country cabinets and
cupboards to accent your decor.
The towel-rod is a great piece to mount near the
sink or on a door frame.
This weekend hours
Friday 10-4
Saturday 10-4
then
NEXT WEEKEND (March 24)
Saturday 10-2
(My mother-in-law will be filling in for me)

An Extra Day This Weekend Plus 20% OFF!

With booking flights
once a month to Florida
 and leaving my
home and shop,
the winter is going
by much faster than usual.
....But it is time for....

*SPRING*SPRING*SPRING*
 Birds...nests...wreaths...
penny runners.
A chick appliqued on a pillow.
 Flowers are sprouting!
Sadly,  I dropped Mr. Bunny
and his ear broke
If you make an offer for him
I will accept it. :)
Mrs. Bunny is available
still whole and would look
wonderful next to
basket of candy or eggs!
Birds, birdhouses, nests and
eggs are all springy accents
you can bring into your
decorating today and keep
out all through summer.

This year I made the decision to only be
open on Saturdays through May
since I would be gone so much,
but
THIS WEEKEND
I am here and so I am going to be *open*

Egg Sighting!

Though we are starting to finally
get snow here...{What an ODD year!!}
Spring...and Easter are not very far away...
Signs of it are arriving inside the shop these days.
{I still find it a little too cold to tweak the porch
and "plant" posies... So the
evergreen and berries remain temporarily.}
It is egg~sighting to anticipate the flowers poking through
the earth and the leaves beginning to bud.
You can bring in a little spring early
by adding a wreath around a candle.
Or a little nest with eggs...

Check out my Spring Thing board
on Pinterest for more inspiring spring things!
~And follow me there, I'll follow you back!~

Stop in @ Bittersweet Farm for
more Egg Sightings...

Of Seafoam and Sage

Green is a universal color in decorating!
Every season has it's own green and
every "era" of decorating has it's own also.

Consider the Avacado of the 70's:
...I know you are hoping for a come-back! ;)
The Seafoam of the 80's:

The Hunter of the 90's:

The Sage of the 00's:

Still the sage green is ruling the green themes.
It is a classic: a calm, bright and yet muted hue of green.

I have it out in the shop for
spring with the tulips,
 summer with the daisies,
fall with the pumpkins,
and winter with the reds of Christmas.
.....And NOW.....

Just in:

Then of course, the classic country red and black:

I will be offering
20% off all of these
NEW TOWELS

TOMORROW!!!
Saturday, February18th from 10-4
(yes I am staying open until 4)

A Little Sunshine...

 With such a mild winter...
spring just may arrive early...
Look below at the new hanging scale
from Park Designs!!!
Wouldn't it look great hanging over
your kitchen sink or your island
with a candle surrounded by a wreath
or how about this little pot of
rosemary?
I have another helper in the shop
this weekend. She worked at
Blackberry Hollow back in the day...
Stop in Saturday 10-2
and visit Annette!

AND REMEMBER..if you need to come
in another time I am HAPPY to
OPEN the shop for you!
Text, email, or call my cell!
